Where we Race:
We race in Anchor Bay (north end of Lake St. Clair). Most of the races are on the Anchor Bay north triangle (C, A & B) or the south triangle (CR, A & B) shown below.
Each leg of the triangle is about 1.7 nm. Most races will then have a weather leg and (2) reach legs. If the wind is out of the North or South then we would race between CR & C which would give us a Winward/Leeward or Leeward/Windward course which would be about 3.1 nm each way.
We are docked at North Star Sail Club which is on the Clinton River. The Clinton River flows into Anchor Bay which is the northern end of Lake St. Clair. We are behind the club and a few wells down river from the jin pole well.
