our boat and racing program

Our C&C 32, Desire, is competitively raced out of North Star Sail Club on the Clinton River.  Our most competitive night is Tuesday. We also do the Friday Fun Sail/Race where we take out those who want to try out sailing OR considering a tryout for Tuesdays. Check out our schedule on the Events Page.

We also endeavor to have the boat near Charlevoix Yacht Club during the month of July for their club racing and for day sailing. There is the opportunity to join us in Charlevoix &/or be part of either the delivery north or south.

We are well prepared with a great bottom, sails with most less than five years old. We also have lots of mechanical advantage which makes it easier as we age and also for short handed sailing.

When we sail, Safe, Fun and Fast we win.  A few of our victory flags are above.
